Courtaulds Appears

Svenska Rayon had previously made approaches for a partnership with the English rayon giant Courtaulds but was turned down. In the early 1960s, they began entering the English market, and suddenly Courtaulds reappeared with a merger proposal. Likely a move that Svenska Rayon later regretted.
